David
David is a qualified chartered accountant who has worked in various locations around the world including the Caribbean, Bermuda and Eastern Europe. His work gave him a taste for travel that led to him establishing numerous travel websites.
After returning to his native Bolton he established Visit North West.
David is a firm believer in a free and factual internet. All his sites offer free listings for local businesses and avoid much of the promotional language typically associated with travel guides.

Oksana
Oksana graduated from the University of Kiev with a Master’s Degree in Finance and Management. Prior to moving to the UK, she worked at the World Bank and as assistant to the Jordanian Consul in Kiev.
Despite being Ukrainian, she is fanatical about England’s North West. She will happily spend an entire day watching episodes of Fred Dibnah’s TV shows.
Oksana carries out much of the day-to-day site administration and is heavily involved with developing the look and feel of the site.
