I think it would be difficult to find such a good hotel again at such a competitive price, especially when you bear in mind the quality of the room and the level of service. Make sure to have a drink in the bar overlooking the Mersey it’s very relaxing and there was a great atmosphere when I was there.

I think I got lucky here. First of all I got a great price and didn’t really expect that much for it. Then I was checked into a really nice room overlooking the Mersey. The staff were extremely polite and professional as well. I would go back here any time if it’s usually like this.
I booked a standard room in July. The room was very small and there was a smell from the bathroom. After complaining to the duty manager I was moved to a good room with views over the river etc. Staff were very good and the food was five star. The stay started bad but finished five star.
