Reviews and Additional Information

  1. BC says:

The room was quiet and comfortable and had everything we needed, but what we really enjoyed most was the food and drink. They have an excellent range of cask ales, which taste particularly good when you are snuggled up close to the log fire. We also got a very good rate on the room which topped things off nicely.

  2. Mr Roberts says:

This is a terrific place to stay. Its age gives it a lot of character and the flag stone floors, log fire, and excellent range of food and drink compliment each other perfectly. The staff are also very friendly and I would definitely be happy to stay here again.

  3. tim s says:

This is a nice friendly village pub with a good crowd ranging from Stonyhurst kids to local sports teams. Decent food and good beer. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
