Located at the south entrance of the Pleasure Beach, the Big Blue Hotel is a long-awaited addition to Blackpool’s stock of tourist accommodation. It is in fact, the only new hotel to be built in the town in the last 25 years.
Unlike most other hotels in the town, the Big Blue is stylish and contemporary. Rooms feature luxury bathrooms, oversized beds, plasma TVs with DVD players, air conditioning and state-of-the-art lighting.
Guests can dine at the Blue Bar and Brasserie or choose from the many restaurants and cafes located around Pleasure Beach. The hotel also offers a fully-equipped health and fitness room.
We all loved it here, especially the kids. I don’t think they’ll settle for anything less in future. It’s just so modern and stylish and they seem to have thought of everything. There’s also plenty of parking and it’s perfect for the Pleasure Beach.
Stay here once and you’ll definitely go back.
I reckon the old fashioned Blackpool hotels and guest houses are going to have their work cut out coping with this new kid on the block. This brings accommodation in Blackpool to a new level.
This is a new hotel with everything you could wish for. Massive beds, plasma TVs, great location, food, and customer service. No point staying anywhere else really for short breaks. We can’t recommend it too highly.
Big beds, plasma TVs and a whole lot more, we thought this place was fantastic and for a short break in Blackpool probably wouldn’t stay anywhere else now. The room was spotless and the staff couldn’t do enough for us.
Stayed here recently and thought the room was quite exceptional at a very reasonable price. You could tell a great deal of thought had gone into designing and building this place and the facilities and staff are the best that we have encountered.
We loved the location and everything else about this hotel. Excellent service and facilities, great food, and perfect for the Pleasure Beach and many other attractions. The bed was so comfortable we wanted to take it home with us!
Don’t think of staying anywhere else in Blackpool, this is the best!
Rooms were spacious and modern, and the staff helpful. I’m looking foward to returning in the summer.
The hotel is good value for money, off-season at least. I’m sure they probably raise their prices during the summer though.
I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Blackpool with their children. It’s right next to the Pleasure Beach and has lovely modern rooms.
Staff were very friendly. I would definately stay here again.
