Formerly the Speke Airport passenger terminal this Grade II listed art deco building has been carefully restored and is now the Crown Plaza John Lennon Airport (formerly the Marriott Liverpool City South).
Just over a mile from the terminals at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, it offers over 160 rooms, a restaurant, bar, and large car park.
Each room boasts an en-suite bathroom, cable TV, mini-bar, individual climate control, iron and board, trouser press, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Registered guests enjoy complimentary membership of the David Lloyd leisure club next to the hotel. Facilities here include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fully-equipped gym, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, and tennis, badminton, and squash courts.
A complimentary airport shuttle bus is also available.

If you check this place out properly before you book there is every chance of getting a good deal as I did. There is plenty to keep you occupied here whether you want to eat, drink, socialise, or keep fit and they even lay on a complimentary shuttle to the airport. How good is that?
It makes a nice change being able to stay near an airport and actually have somewhere to eat and drink and relax and unwind instead of spending a ridiculous amount of time in your room watching trash TV. Certainly gets my vote and I would be very happy to stay again.
Good place to either start or finish at when a flight is involved.
This is a very nice building and very handy for the airport, obviously. There is plenty of parking and the room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The fitness facilities are excellent if you have time to take advantage of them. They have everything. I would consider staying again.
Perfect spot if you are flying into or out of Liverpool. The room was clean, spacious and modern and very well appointed. Staff were friendly and efficient in my dealings with them. Food was good, but I found the bar quite pricey if you wanted a few. Not bad overall though.
