This Village Hotel opened in 2008 and offers a good standard of accommodation at reasonable prices. It’s situated on the Ashton Moss Leisure Park, on the outskirts of Ashton-under-Lyne and just 5 miles from Manchester city centre.
The 4-storey hotel boasts 120 bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, flat screen TV with satellite channels, an Ipod docking station, and complimentary wireless internet access.
Facilities at the hotel include a health club with gym and 25m pool, a restaurant, pub, and a large car park (free).
The Ashton Moss Leisure Park offers plenty of activities and facilities including a cinema, bowling alley, and several restaurants. A Sainsbury’s supermarket and a large IKEA store are also nearby.
I’ve stayed at several hotels in Manchester and think that this is one of the best. The rooms are good and have a large TV with sports and movies, ipod station and wifi. The pool, restaurant, and pub are also pretty good.
Everything you could possibly want is nearby including a supermarket and cinema. We like bowling and could even do that. Great room and breakfast. One or two staff seemed new to the business, but tried really hard to please you.
Perfect for what we wanted. Made full use of the excellent 25M pool and the other superb leisure facilities. The hotel is new with friendly and polite staff and excellent service.
