Oswaldtwistle
Oswaldtwistle is a small town around 4 miles east of Blackburn. James Hargreaves, inventor of the Spinning Jenny and one of the most influential figures of the Industrial Revolution, was born and lived here. Oswaldwistle Mills, once a textile factory, is now an impressive shopping village.
