Inn On The Prom @ The Fernlea Hotel

Situated on the Promenade in St Annes-on-Sea, the Inn on the Prom is one of the largest hotels in Lytham St Annes.

It offers 100 rooms, all with private bathroom/shower, TV, radio, trouser press, hairdryer, and hospitality tray. Luxury rooms include large plasma screen TVs, Egyptian cotton beddings and deluxe furnishings.

Guests at the hotel receive complimentary membership of the hotel’s health club. This offers a heated indoor swimming pool, poolside bar, 3 gyms, Jacuzzi, squash court, solarium and sauna.

Me and the wife were made up with this place. She hit the health club and beauty salon while I went out and got in a round of golf. Then at night we'd catch a show in Blackpool together. A perfect holiday. Almost forgot, the hotel and its staff were great as well.

We really enjoyed staying here as it gives you a seafront location close to Blackpool and all its amenities combined with the peace and quiet of Lytham. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and it's certainly worth taking advantage of the excellent leisure facilities.

Good facilities and a nice room with a lovely view at a very reasonable price. Dinner was excellent as was customer service from most of the staff, although one or two seemed a little young and inexperienced and could perhaps do with a bit more training.

The complimentary dinner on arrival was a nice touch and greatly appreciated. Very impressed with the attitude of the staff as well, although the buffet breakfast in the morning took a while to arrive. The room was clean and comfortable, although a little on the small side. Not a bad place overall though.

I stayed last year at the hotel paid for a boutique room and got a standard room with 4 poster bed and no TV. I have just returned having paid £60 for one night. The room was so tiny but had a 42in tv! Both sink taps in the minuscule bathroom supplied hot water. Lighting in rooms both times was non existent. Breakfast was really nice and restaurant is nice, and the staff were helpful. But would not stay again based on the rooms.
