Heywood House

This small family-run hotel is situated in Blackpool’s South Shore, close to Blackpool South train station and within walking distance of many of the town’s best attractions (Pleasure Beach, South Pier etc.).

It offers 7 rooms, all of which have en-suite facilities. A full English breakfast is included in the daily rates. Evening meals are available on request. Heywood House also boasts a fully licensed bar.

The hotel has been in business for the best part of a century and welcomes families, couples and small, well-behaved groups.

We were told about this place by friends and decided to go and check it out, as it can be a bit hit and miss in Blackpool due to the number of hotels. Anyway, we got a very warm welcome and excellent service throughout our stay. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was especially good.

This was a very friendly hotel that we just picked at random due to its close proximity to the Pleasure Beach. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, offering lots of useful suggestions, and the included breakfast was delicious.
