I went to close the curtains in the bedroom and the on-suite and both sets fell off so i then had to climb on a chair to fix them in order to get changed. My family and I were attending a function at a nearby hotel so were out until the early hours of the morning. When we arrived back i was disgusted to find blood stains on the bed sheets which i was expected to sleep under and it was too late at night to complain at this time. I was also reluctant to let my newborn baby sleep in the travel cot at this time.
At 8:30 in the morning my daughter was woken up by the loud noises coming from the lift maintenance cupboard. At this point I was furious as my stay had well and truly been ruined. It however does not end there.
We proceeded at 9:20am to the restaurant for breakfast. There were no clean tables so i had to ask a member of staff to find us one. Then a different member off staff took us to a dirty table and said she would clean it. The dirty cutlery a plates were removed but the table was not wiped and then the clean cutlery was placed on top off a dirty table full of crumbs, brown sauce and butter. I then found that there was no bread left for toast and that i was only provided with a shot glass to drink my orange juice with! I felt with these levels of penny pinching and poor cleanliness that I no longer wished to eat the food provided. I would not recommend this hotel.
