Getting There
Car
The M55 connects Blackpool with the M6 and the UK’s motorway network. Leave the M6 at junction 32 for the M55.
Visitors wishing to hire a car can choose from Europcar or Hertz (at Blackpool International Airport).
Air
Blackpool International Airport is situated around 2½ miles south of the town centre.
Train
Blackpool North [map] is the town’s main train station. It’s on Talbot Road, around ½ mile from the North Pier.
Visitors staying on the South Shore may find Blackpool South [map] more convenient. Trains from here call at Blackpool Pleasure Beach [map] , Squires Gate [map] and Preston, where intercity trains connect with most UK destinations.
