Travelodge Blackpool South Shore

This Travelodge hotel opened in May 2008 and is situated directly opposite Bloomfield Road, Blackpool Football Club’s stadium. It offers 124 rooms (family and double) at budget prices, each with TV and hospitality tray.

Facilities at hotel include a car park (paid), licensed bar and café, and wireless internet access (chargeable). The hotel is approximately 500 yards from the Promenade and 1 mile from the Pleasure Beach and South Pier.

Very good value, an excellent breakfast and clean rooms. The only downside was you had to pay for parking. Apart from that it was brilliant.

Great place for a family break! The room was clean, modern, and spacious and the staff were very friendly and efficient. We even got extra pillows and towels for the kids without having to ask. The breakfast was quite substantial as well. Didn't affect us, but the 3pm check in might be awkward if you don't know about it.

Not a bad place. Good things about it were clean, new, good price, very near the football ground and free breakfast for kids if you order one for adults. I suppose the down side was having to pay for parking and you can't check in till 3pm. All in all though we were very satisfied.
