Defected Records tour the Southport Weekender event in May 2009.
The Southport Weekender is a music festival held twice a year at Pontins in Southport.
Each 3-day event attracts around 5,000 dance and soul fans. The next event, Southport Weekender 45, will be held November 6 – 8 2009.

The Southport Airshow is the largest aviation show in North West England. The 2009 show will be held September 26 to 27.

The ride was previously located at Pleasureland in Southport and was called the Traumatizer.
In 2006, Pleasureland closed, and the ride moved to the Pleasure Beach.
