Bolton Bars, Pubs & Clubs

Bolton town centre has a large number of bars and pubs, most of which are found on or around Bradshawgate and Nelson Square. Many are the standard run-of-the-mill ‘fun’ pubs found in any northern city. Notable exceptions include the Old Man & Scythe, one of the oldest pubs in the UK.

Clubs are a little thin on the ground. J2 caters to the house music and R&B crowd while indie kids and students head for Club Indiego.
