Bolton Hotels

Given its status as the UK’s biggest town, the choice of hotel accommodation in Bolton town centre is somewhat disappointing. The Pack Horse has a great location, but is a little past its sell-by date and can be noisy at night. Options on the outskirts of the town centre are the Holiday Inn and the Highgrove Guest House.

Cream of the crop is the De Vere Whites, part of the Reebok Stadium at Middlebrook. Although there’s plenty to do here (bowling, cinema etc.) it is an out-of-town retail park around 5 miles from the centre.
