The Market Place is the biggest and most modern shopping centre in Bolton town centre. Shops here include:

Facilities include several cafes and restaurants, a multi-storey car park, plus toilets and baby changing facilities.

The adjoining Victorian Market Hall was home to a variety of independent traders and market stalls before closing for redevelopment at the start of 2007. It is set to reopen in autumn 2008 and will feature mainly high street names.
