Ramada Bolton

We stayed here in room 657 for four nights, end May/start June 2011. Room was most excellent and spacious, all facilities worked fine, view was great across to The Pennines. The food was extremely good and everything was available as per the menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful, although the bar was somewhat chaotic at times (running out of supplies and left unstaffed). Highly recommended, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

My wife and I spent 3 days here in July 2009. The accommodation was good and everything was spotlessly clean. On the negative side, food and drink service was abysmal and we always had to be satisfied with 2nd or 3rd choices. Kashmiri Lamb Curry was stated as being available 24 hours. When I asked for it, it wasn't even available for 24 seconds. On one night we sat at a table in the Brasserie and were ignored for 20 minutes until we asked for service. After another 20 minutes I was told my starter was not available. When we eventually got our meal we had been sitting at our table for 55 minutes. I have never seen so many staff walking around at high speed producing so little in the way of actual service.

I spent a couple of days here midweek and was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean and spacious and contained everything I needed and the staff were friendly and attentive without being over the top. There are some great options in the health centre if you have the time. On top of all that I got a very good deal and would have no hesitation in returning under the same circumstances.

We stayed here whilst watching the football at the Reebok and were not disappointed. Everybody was very friendly and helpful and they have a great health centre where you can recharge your batteries. Only had breakfast there, which was ok. Happy to go back.
