Smithills Open Farm
Smithills Open Farm offers a great day out for families and school groups. It boasts a fine collection of traditional farm and other animals including pigs, cows, horses, sheep, hens, ducks, goats, peacocks, owls, and more.
Children are welcome to pet and feed many of the animals and can also ride donkeys, watch cows being milked, play on bouncy castles, and ride toy tractors and trailers.
The farm is situated within Smithills Country Park.
