Smithills Hall & Country Park
This Grade I listed building dates back to the 14th century and has been extended over the years, featuring architecture from the Victorian and Tudor eras. Today it is run as museum by Bolton Council and houses an impressive collection of historic furniture and artefacts, a nature trail, and beautiful gardens.
The surrounding park covers 2,000 acres and is also home to Smithills Open Farm and the Smithills Coaching House restaurant.
