Leave the M61 at junction 3, 4, 5 or 6.

Air

Bolton is 21 miles by road from Manchester Airport and 35 miles from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Several trains go to Manchester Airport.

Train

Bolton’s main train station [map] is situated on the outskirts of the town centre. There are frequent departures for Manchester and Preston, where trains can be caught to most UK destinations.
