Vue Cinema Bolton

The Vue Cinema Bolton at Middlebrook offers 12 screens. The biggest auditorium can accommodate 359 cinemagoers while the smallest can seat 120. All screens offer full disabled access.

Like most cinemas the Vue Bolton offers its own refreshment counter. At the entrance to the cinema there’s also a small shopping mall with a Starbucks and an oriental restaurant, Abacus. There are also plenty of further dining options within walking distance; Pizza Hut, Frankie & Benny’s, Chiquito, KFC, and Subway. The Hollywood Bowl is also nearby.

The cinema is situated at the Middlebrook Retail and Leisure Park in Horwich, on the outskirts of Bolton.

To travel by car leave the M61 at Junction 6 and follow the signs for Middlebrook. Sat nav users should use the postcode BL6 6JA.

Middlebrook also boasts its own train station, Horwich Parkway. There are frequent services from Bolton, Preston and Manchester.

Nice cinema, but I prefer Cineworld at the Valley to the Vue.

I went to watch Slumdog Millionaire and it was absolutely EXCELLENT. This film is a must see.

I was really impressed when I went to watch 'mamma mia'. The picture and viewing was perfect. We could see everything (sat just in front of the premier seats). It was great. Thank you to all the staff who was working that day. It was a pleasure coming, and I would come again.

Last night I went to watch Stardust. Me and my friends were sat on the middle row. Some teenagers sitting further up were throwing popcorn practically through the whole film.

I wasn't to impressed with last night's viewing of Saw IV. Myself and five other friends were sat on the front row where we all couldn't see the screen properly because it was sending our eyes funny. We all felt physically sick. It has really made me think twice about going again. I think something needs doing.
