Tenpin Bury

Tenpin is a bowling alley and family entertainment centre in Bury. It offers 30 computerised bowling lanes, an amusement arcade, English and American pool tables, plus a licensed bar and restaurant.

The centre is open 7 days a week. Opening times are noon till midnight - Monday to Friday, and 10 am till midnight at weekends.

The bowling alley opened in the late 1980s. It was formerly called the Megabowl.

Went to Tenpin Pilsworth with my daughter yesterday for her birthday. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel very welcome, staff were absolutely brilliant, customer service was outstanding. Fantastic day out with bowling, disco, food, balloon modeling, face painting photo to bring home and party bags...would definitely recommend ....Thank you to all the staff once again :o) x

A comment on this page is very stereotypical and is stereotyping those between the age of 12 and 15 as it quotes ' they don't want scallys and chavs hanging around causing trouble'. This is very stereotype as not all teenagers are so called ' scallys and chavs' some are very well educated. Bowling is a place for family but it is also a place for young adults to go and have a good time with their friends and they should not be stereotyped because of their age.

I think that young children that come on their own should get better offers, then get some money for the arcade, because that's all the kids want to do! So, if they make a deal say for 10 or up they should get 2 games for £5 and then a free 3 pounds in the arcade.

Thats why its not cheap. They don't want groups of scallys and chavs hanging around causing trouble. Megabowl is a family place and should be treated as one.

I think it is far too expensive and that there should be a offer for 12 yrs to 15 yrs because that is what the age of people are that visit bowling alleys.
