This hotel is difficult to beat on location and we also got quite a good deal. The room was nice and the building is great. The only downside that we found was that you had to park in the NCP about 5 minutes walk away.

A good place to stay if you want to be right in the heart of Chester and just a stone's throw away from the shops, pubs and restaurants. The building is really nice with its high ceilings and impressive staircase. The food and service were also good.

A £3 million refurbishment of the hotel was completed in April 2007.

Great location but rooms are a little dated and could do with a lick of paint. Ok if you just want a bed for the night.
