Broxton Hall Hotel

Broxton Hall is a 17th century Tudor house set in 5 acres of beautiful grounds. It is situated around 10 miles south of Chester.

All 10 rooms are furnished with antiques, but also offer modern comforts such as en-suite bathrooms, TVs, tea and coffee making facilities.

The hotel’s restaurant Cestria serves modern British and European cuisine using fresh, local game in season. Guests can relax in the lounge with its Jacobean fireplace and oak panelled walls.

Overall the hotel was quite charming. Our room could have done with a little refurbishment though.

We stayed in the room with the four-poster bed which was very large and had plenty of character. I would definately stay here again. Rates are very reasonable.
