Just got back from our 4th weekend at the Mill and again had a fabulous weekend. We always find the staff rooms and food wonderful. Used the leisure facilities for the first time this visit they very also great. Always book with friends and always manage to sleep with no problems due to noise. We will be back for a 5th visit.

Our family stayed for the fourth time between Christmas and New Year. We had a fantastic deal. The room was lovely and spotless, the evening meal delicious, and at breakfast we were spoilt for choice. We found all the staff to be very helpful and polite. The leisure facilities are great. We will be back . Thank you. Highly recommended especially for families.

Don't listen to the ones below - ok the room was a bit small but I did book a standard room. Maretta Williams the GM went out of her way to help us when my partner fell and twisted her ankle in town. There was noise but that's what you get when you book a city centre hotel. Food was excellent and staff friendly. I will certainly go back again.

The hotel has many faults, the rooms are small, food is cheap and tasteless, some staff are friendly, local people who drink in the bar are strange and very intimidating. Will not be going back again. Management need some customer care training.

Don't stay at this hotel over a weekend if you expect any sleep! Hotel full of stag and hen parties - the bedroom corridors were like a sixth form dormitory with drunken and shrieking twenty-somethings banging doors until 4am. Standard room decor dark and gloomy/tiny bathroom with nowhere to hand large towels and agree with other comments about hotel being over-priced. Never used spa facilities - too busy trying to catch up on sleep! However - staff pleasant and attentive.

The gym is amazing, the people are nice, and the whole place is clean and quiet.

I agree with the statement above the general manager Maretta Williams the daughter and sister of the two owners needs to learn a few things about customer care, the hotel is totally overpriced and needs bring up into the 21st century, the rooms looked and felt like hostels I stayed in in Europe in the late 70's. I was deeply disappointed, and would not recommend this outdated hotel.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. We made a complaint and we were asked to leave a day earlier than we had booked for (at a 3 night special rate) on Easter Sunday (we ended up paying the more expensive rate) and we had nowhere to stay, everywhere was booked and we had travelled 100s of miles for a relaxing weekend in Chester. Maretta Williams the so called manager on that day knows nothing about customer care and should be sacked. We will be writing to our solicitors on this matter.

Hotel was great. Room was nice and clean, lots of parking, great bar with cheap drinks.
