Nunsmere Hall Hotel

The Nunsmere Hall hotel is housed in a Victorian country house originally built for a wealthy Liverpool shipping magnate. It enjoys a tranquil setting in extensive gardens surrounded on three sides by a lake.

The hotel offers 36 individually designed rooms, furnished with antiques and boasting king-size beds, marble bathrooms and broadband internet access.

The Crystal Restaurant enjoys a good reputation and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Children are not permitted in the restaurant after 7 pm and a smart dress code is in operation.

Nunsmere Hall is situated close to the Cheshire village of Cuddington, around 13 miles to the east of Chester. Delamere Forest, the largest wooded area in Cheshire, is just a mile from the hotel.

Robert
The house is beautiful and the gardens are superb, but it's a little bit on the pricey side. That said, we didn't really find anything to complain about and the staff really did their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
OP
I would say that this hotel is ok for a special occasion and if you can afford it. The setting is beautiful with lovely gardens and a lake on 3 sides, but if you pay full whack it's quite difficult to justify the expense.

Quite expensive but worth every penny. Good hotels for anniversaries and special occassions.
