Pennies, Chester

Pennies Guest House is one of the most centrally located guest houses in Chester.

It’s situated just outside the city walls and just a couple of minutes walk from most of the restaurants, bars and shops.

Rooms are clean and comfortable and include a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. A communal lounge is also available for guests.

Rates are very reasonable given its location.

We stayed here whilst visiting the races. The location is excellent and the price is unbeatable. It is very clean and quiet and absolutely ideal for a short break. One tiny drawback was the 10am checkout, but that was the only negative for us. Would definitely come back in future.

This was a great little find and I would totally recommend it. The location is superb and you can even park for free, and securely, if you let them know in advance. Virtually everything was within walking distance and there is even a Tesco on your doorstep.
