Pheasant Inn

The Pheasant Inn is situated in Higher Burwardsley, around 11 miles from the historic city of Chester. It enjoys some of the most magnificent panoramic views in the area.

The inn offers 12 rooms in old Cheshire sandstone buildings. All are en-suite and include complimentary wireless broadband internet.

The bar features four real ales recognised for their well kept quality by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ales) and is featured in the Good Beer Guide. An extensive wine list is also available. Good quality food has been recognised by inclusion in the Michelin Good Pub and Egon Ronay guides. The inn has also been awarded an AA Rosette.

This was a great little find and we would definitely be happy to go back based on our first visit. The room was spacious, clean and comfy and the staff friendly and attentive. There are no big hills to see, but the views are still quite spectacular, especially when drinking a pint of fine cask ale as the sun sets.

We were very happy with our stay here. The place is lovely and not even that expensive. The room had all mod cons, but what we liked most of all was the excellent food and drink, especially the beer which had been recognised by CAMRA.

The sunsets here are spectacular. It's a great place to sit outside and have a nice glass of wine.
