Roman Garden

This lovely garden isn’t actually a real Roman garden. It was built in 1949 using real Roman columns and artefacts. It’s a great place to stop and relax while walking Chester’s walls.

If you love history AND Shakespeare come and watch C'est Tous' performance of The Taming of The Shrew at Chester Amphitheatre Saturday 21st July and Saturday 28th July. Shows start at 7pm and audiences are encouraged to bring a picnic. For tickets/bookings call 01257 453 956.

I wouldn't class this an attraction and come specifically to visit it. It is however a nice place to stop while walking the walls.
