This is an excellent place to stay and I would highly recommend it. It is very convenient to get to, near to many amenities, and unbeatable in terms of value. One tiny complaint is that I would've preferred to have breakfast before 9am to make the most of the day.

As a single traveller arriving by train this place was ideal for me. The town was nearby as was plenty of good walking country. The room was very clean and comfortable and the price was excellent for the Lake District.
