Beech Hill is a 3-star hotel situated on the eastern shore of Windermere, around 4 miles south of Bowness. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, and a private beach with jetty.

The hotel has 58 en-suite bedrooms, each individually decorated and with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers, direct dial phones and colour TVs.

The hotel’s restaurant makes good use of local produce and holds 2 AA Rosettes.

We recently celebrated our daughters wedding here. The Beech Hill Hotel is a fantastic venue, with great staff and food. I couldn't fault anything. Donna (wedding co-ordinator) made it the perfect day. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend this hotel.

People always go on about location in the Lake District, but this one, with its stunning views must be right up there among the best. The room was exceedingly comfortable and very well equipped and the staff were extremely helpful and hard working. It was also nice to be able to have breakfast about 10am when other places can be quite strict on this.

We can't really complain about anything based on the price we paid, but I don't really think it would have been worth the full amount. Our room was excellent and led straight out onto the garden. The view was also stunning and the staff really went out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

What wonderful views and what a fantastic location. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained and the staff were really lovely. On top of that if you play your cards right by booking in the right way you can get a really good deal as we did.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are absolutely spectacular and there are some great walks right on your doorstep. The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service and we found the breakfast superb. Be careful in the hotel and gardens as there are a lot of steps and you really need to watch where you're going.

They usually have some entertainment at the weekends, a pianist on Fridays and jazz band on Saturdays.
