The Belsfield Hotel is a Victorian mansion in Bowness that is best known for its great views of Windermere. It’s set in 6 acres of gardens that lead down to the lakeside where ferries can be caught.

Facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and restaurant.

I have just come back from a long weekend with other family members. The location was perfect and our rooms with Lakeside views was really beautiful. The hotel itself was tired and needs renovation to bring it back to its former glory. The staff were very helpful and friendly 10 out of 10 there. I think like Ben if I was to return I would try a different hotel. However if the Hotel were renovated I would be back like a shot.
Come on Corus invest some money!

The hotel has a brilliant location with views to die for. The rooms are a little old but staff were extremely nice and helpful. Overall was ok but would probably try somewhere else next time I visit.
