Kim
Bowness is such a lovely village, sat right next to the lake. There were lots of shops, pubs and restaurants. I visited in the winter and it was raining the whole time, but this did not dampen my experience at all. I will return in the summer though as it would be lovely to see the views across the lake in all their glory.

Bowness is much busier than Windermere. During the summer it is almost impossible to find a parking space.
