Broadoaks Country House

This small boutique hotel enjoys a peaceful location in the Troutbeck Valley, a great area for walking and relaxing, yet close to Bowness and Windermere.

There are 14 individually furnished rooms at Broadoaks. Each is named after a tree and features an en-suite bathroom with spa bath or Jacuzzi, and TV. Most have four poster, king sized, or canopy beds.

Original place to stay with its tree theme and lovely surroundings. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and Wi-Fi. Good food, but a little on the pricey side. The room was nice though and the staff were friendly, polite, and informative.

Perfect base for walking and yet not too far from Windermere and all its amenities. Our room had a four poster, which we thought was a nice touch, and everything else in the room was perfectly satisfactory. Very helpful staff with plenty of useful suggestions.
