I was in two minds to write a review as I was so pleased with this little gem of a place. We went away extremely satisfied. Nothing was too much trouble for the people who worked there and the food and drink was exquisite. When you see all the locals eating and drinking there you know you've found a good spot. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

This is a good choice if you want to be quite near Windermere, 5 minutes drive, but not right in the middle of everything. The building was lovely and the room very clean and tidy and tastefully decorated. The staff were very helpful and they do a breakfast that is to die for, full of local fresh produce. Hope to return soon.
