Burnside Hotel

Just a few hundred yards from boat piers at Windermere, the Burnside Hotel offers some of the best leisure facilities in the Lake District. Situated in the hotel’s grounds, the Parklands Country Club features a fitness studio, squash and badminton courts, swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room, sauna, and lounge bar with two full-size snooker tables.

The hotel itself boasts almost 60 rooms of various types. All are en-suite and a TV, telephone, and hospitality tray. A lift provides easy access to all floors.

We were entirely happy with our stay at the Burnside. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and even had a balcony. The staff were generally friendly and helpful and pets are welcome.

Great place and location being only a few hundred meters from the boat piers. Excellent leisure facilities and even a lift to all floors which would be very useful for disabled guests.
