It's been several years since we stayed but we found everything to our liking except the location. We couldn't walk out at night after our meal as there is no other place close by.

Super Hotel. Everything was top class, food, service everything.
I can't recommend highly enough and will be back soon.

Stayed in September 2007. The worst hotel ever. Refurbishment programme offers an excuse for bad management. Unfriendly staff and the worst food ever encountered.

The Castle Inn is in a very quiet area. The pool was nice and the room good. You definately need a car to stay here.
Critic
The hotel is in a very secluded location which is exactly what we were after. If you're after a hotel with lots of restaurants etc nearby then the Castle Inn isn't for you.
The pool and other leisure facilities were good, although the gym was quite small. Staff were very friendly.
I would stay again and recommend this hotel.
