Fell Foot Country Park
This 18-acre Victorian Park sits on the southern shores of Windermere and is a great spot for a relaxing family picnic.
The mansion that was once here is now long gone, but its impressive boathouse still stands and offers rowing boats for hire. There is also a café here and children’s playground.
Ferry trips operate to Lakeside in season.
