We stayed at the Ivythwaite for a short break. We stayed in the attic room, the spa bath is a must and was brilliant to relax in. The staff were very friendly, the breakfasts were superb with a wide variety of options. The hotel was very clean and decorated to a high standard. We will be returning in the near future.

This hotel seems to be midway between Bowness and Windermere so it is easy to walk to either. The room was very comfortable and clean and well appointed and they do an excellent breakfast. There was no trouble parking and the staff were full of useful suggestions.

A fantastic place to stay with very friendly and welcoming staff and superb 4 poster beds. The rest of the room was also decorated to a very high standard and there were plenty of tasteful features throughout like oak beams which really gave it a lot of character.

An amazing place to stay. The attic suite is newly redecorated and looks stunning with dark wood furniture and lighting under the beams. A HUGE jacuzzi/spa bath for 2 and skylights to gaze at the stars is a wonderful touch of luxury.
