I stayed at the King's Arms in mid October 2007 and had a delightful stay. I had the best chicken dinner of my life. I found it cozy and would return again.

Had quite an unpleasant visit to the restaurant. Booked a table that the staff allowed another group to use, meaning we had to eat starters on a tiny table in the bar area. Then, when we got to our table for the main course, I was served a cold lasagne. As everyone else was eating, and I didn't want microwaved food, I said I didn't want it replacing. When our bill arrived, the lady who seemed to be in-charge still expected us to pay for the cold meal that was sent back. She argued that it was us being 'picky' rather than the food being inedible. We were well within our rights to send the whole meal back and refuse to pay, but, being reasonable people, we just sent back the one meal that was substandard and were happy to pay for the rest. The lady was very rude, and caused quite a scene in the restaurant.
