This is a great spot with brilliant views, but it might be a bit cut off for some people. We loved the peace and quiet though and although they don't do meals at night they provide you with an excellent breakfast and Keswick is only a few minutes drive away. Good price as well. We would stay again.

If you stay here make sure to book one of the superior rooms with a view of the lake and Skiddaw, it's a beautiful thing to see first thing in the morning. They do a great breakfast, but you have to go out for evening meal. Still liked it though.

The hotel has really good view of the lake. Service was friendly and we felt very much at home.
