You'd be hard pressed to find somewhere more relaxing than this wherever you were. The stunning views are so soothing and both the room and the health and fitness facilities were excellent. You are also in superb walking country if you fancy doing something a bit more energetic.

If you are only going to stay in one place in the Lake District I would very strongly recommend it be here. The location is to die for, like something out of a fairy tale. Needless to say the standard of cleanliness and the professionalism of the staff were beyond reproach.

Lodore Falls is a great hotel with fabulous views of Derwent Water. You can travel into Keswick on the ferry, which is a very scenic ride. The leisure facilities and restaurant are second to none.
