The Log House

This Ambleside restaurant offers 3 luxury bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, flat screen TV, DVD player, complimentary wireless internet connection, hospitality tray and hairdryer.

We really enjoyed our 2 days here. This is a very original place to stay and staff made us feel totally at home. The food was excellent and the service left nothing to be desired. Slight drawback is that you have to walk for a few minutes to other pubs and restaurants.

Just as it says on the tin a real log cabin brought all the way from Norway 100 years ago. Terrific place to stay with excellent food and service and professional staff.

Very unusual 'hotel'. A great change from our regular place.

Superb location. Very close to the centre of Ambleside. Good breakfast, great rooms, and friendly owners. Highly recommended.
