Murthwaite Green Trekking Centre
The Murthwaite Green Trekking Centre is situated at Silecroft on the south-western tip of the Lake District. It offers riding holidays and pony trekking for all ages and abilities. Options include:
- Beach rides – various rides available ranging from 1 hour to full day
- Lead rein ride – ½ hour children’s ride through the Silecroft village
- Fell rides – ranging from 1½ hours to full day
- Riding holidays and instructional breaks – 2 to 7 days
- Private and group horse riding lessons
- Children’s Pony Club
Advance booking is essential for all rides.
Murthwaite Green is a BHS and ABRS Approved Centre. All rides are escorted by fully-qualified and experienced staff.
