Oakdene Apart-Hotel

The Oakdene Apartments in Windermere are a good choice for families or small groups seeking self-catering accommodation in the Lake District. Three apartments are available, each with lounge, kitchen, and 2 bedrooms (sleeping up to 4).

The lounges feature a TV, 3-piece suite, plus dining table and chairs. Kitchens are fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. Bed linen and towels are provided.

For a family this is absolutely unbeatable. It's just like taking your house with you and the best bit is it's not even more expensive than a hotel. You can make the kids a snack when they get hungry without having to go out for something. We would highly recommend it.

I can't believe how many times we have stayed in hotels when we could have stayed somewhere like this. The place was massive and consisted of several rooms. One bedroom was even en-suite and the location was excellent as well. Hotels are finished for us when this option is available.
