I totally agree with the last review, but I guess it depends what you want. Sure, it's not a place to come and get pampered, but for location and price, I reckon it must be unbeatable. Great beer, very friendly, tons of places to eat nearby. It was an excellent choice for us and we would happily stay here again.

I thought this place was great, or maybe it's just that Keswick is great. Yeah, it looked a bit tired in places, but considering the price, and where you are, and the picturesque views and the lake and... We slept ok after a hard day's walking and would stay here again without any hesitation.
