The Ravensworth Guest House

Originally built in the mid-19th century as a private residence, the Ravensworth Guest House is conveniently situated just a few hundred yards from Windermere train station and within a couple of minutes walk of the town centre.

It offers 14 bedrooms, all of which boast en-suite facilities, central heating, a TV, telephone, hairdryer, and clock radio.

Breakfast is served in the conservatory. Full English and lighter/vegetarian options are available.

A great little place in an ideal location. It was only a short stroll to town, but it was also easy to get up onto the fells for the walking. The room was excellent and you don't have to worry about being out of touch, they have Wi-Fi. No problem parking and a great breakfast to set you up for the day.

We chose this hotel as it was near the train station and we had come on a walking holiday. Turned out to be a good choice as it was immaculately clean and very comfortable and the owners were full of useful information.
