The Royal Oak
The Royal Oak Inn is a friendly pub in Spark Bridge, a small village in the Lake District’s Crake Valley. The building dates back to the 17th century and was originally served as the home for the manager of the local bobbin factory.
The bar boasts an open fire and offers home-cooked food and good selection of real ales and wines. Other features include a games room with pool table, and large beer garden.
The pub also offers accommodation. Three en-suite bedrooms are available, each with TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
Spark Bridge lies between Ulverston and the southern tip of Coniston Water. The River Crake flows through the village.
