The elegant Victorian Waterside Hotel is set in several acres of beautiful gardens on the shore of Grasmere and adjacent to Dove Cottage, the former home of William Wordsworth.

We had a fantastic view of the lake from our room and the staff took extremely good care of us. The room was clean and comfortable and the food was excellent.

Unbeatable location for Wordsworth fans being right next to Dove Cottage. Beautiful gardens, spectacular views and not that expensive considering the location.

Has plenty of character and excellent views of the lake. Grasmere is just a few minutes walk. Good value for money.
