Wheatlands Lodge

Built around 1860 Wheatlands Lodge is a former gentleman’s residence on the edge of Windermere town centre. It has been completely refurbished, while retaining many of its original features, and offers accommodation in 9 individually styled bedrooms. Various room types are available but all feature an en-suite bathroom, coordinated fabrics and furnishings, flat screen TV, radio, hairdryer, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Guests can opt for a traditional Cumbrian breakfast or choose from an extensive cold table, taken in the dining room or on the garden terrace.

Amenities at Wheatlands Lodge include a private car park and wireless internet access. Late keys are available.

Beck

This is a gorgeous building and a lovely place to stay. The room was spotlessly clean and the owners could not have been more friendly and helpful. You are close enough to the town to explore on foot, and they do a superb breakfast that sets you up for the day.

Thorny

Great place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It's got all mod cons, including flat screen TV and Wi-Fi, and the location couldn't be better as it's handy for the train station and they have good on-site parking.
